Reservations are optional
Available bunnies may be purchased in person without a reservation. A reservation is only a way to hold one specific bunny.
Deposit confirmation
Submitting a request or reporting a payment does not reserve a bunny. A short Pending Hold may begin while Hippity Hop checks the payment, but the bunny becomes Reserved only after Hippity Hop manually verifies the electronic deposit and confirms it in the admin portal.
Accepted deposit methods
Reservation deposits may be sent by Zelle, PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App. Cash cannot create a reservation. Cash may be accepted for the remaining balance at pickup.
Email is the official pickup notice
A working email address is required. Email is the official method Hippity Hop uses to notify a reservation customer that a bunny is ready for pickup.
Readiness and pickup
Hippity Hop sends the official pickup-ready email at 11 weeks with the exact pickup date. Pickup begins at 12 weeks and the standard pickup window is seven days. The remaining balance is due at pickup.
Paid extensions
If more time is needed, up to two one-week extensions may be requested at the current extension fee per week. An extension must be paid electronically and is not active until Hippity Hop manually verifies the reported payment. No third extension is allowed.
Failure to pick up
If pickup is not completed by the current deadline and there is no verified extension, the reservation ends, the bunny becomes Available again, and all monies paid on that reservation, including the deposit and any extension fees, are forfeited.
Identification
A reserved rabbit may receive a small identification tattoo or code inside one ear so the exact bunny can be matched to the reservation.
